Smart cities and climate change: Trondheim and the ’Carbon Track and Trace’ project

 

Patrick Driscoll, NTNU 

Patrick Driscoll is a researcher and project developer at Smart Sustainable Cities, at NTNU, Trondheim. In this talk, he will discuss challenges and potential solutions faced by Trondheim, among them air pollution (including GHG emissions), electromobility, smart buildings, distributed energy systems, and integrated ICT systems. Then he will discuss the ‘Carbon Track and Trace’ project that works with municipalities on emissions inventories and air quality.
